About the Role
McGrath Concrete is a well-established and leading supplier of high-quality construction products throughout Ireland.
We are currently looking for a Shipper / Dispatcher to join the team at McGrath Quarries in O’Callaghan’s Mills, Tulla, Co. Clare.
This is a busy and varied role involving customer orders, sales enquiries and the coordination and management of deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
The role will include:
- Taking orders and responding to sales enquiries from customers and potential customers
- Coordinating all deliveries and shipping
- Daily management of deliveries, ensuring there is a sufficient supply of required materials
- Liaising with the maintenance team to ensure necessary routine and non-routine maintenance is carried out
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working in a busy shipping/dispatch environment
- Has good attention to detail, is highly organised and is an excellent multitasker
- Has a good phone manner and strong customer service skills
- Has a positive and proactive approach
- Has good IT skills
- Has a good knowledge of quarry products – this would be a distinct advantage
Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
