Working closely with the Senior Management Team, the HR Manager (part-time) will provide a broad Human Resource Management service to the business. The HR Manager will be responsible for managing all HR activities from recruitment through to employees leaving the company.
This is a stand-alone position in a fast-paced, continuously developing environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Advising Senior Management on all Human Resources matters in line with HR best practice.
• Ensure the company is compliant with all employment law legislation.
• Developing, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures on a timely basis.
• Direct point of contact to support managers on issues relating to employee relations, absenteeism, grievance, or disciplinary matters.
• Managing recruitment and selection; writing job adverts, posting, and monitoring job adverts through various social networks.
• Facilitating the successful on-boarding of staff.
• Maintaining all HR administration, ensuring all records are kept up to date.
• Managing disciplinary actions and other employee relations issues, as required.
• Develop, nurture, and promote a positive workplace environment across the organisation.
Key Requirements Include:
• A minimum of 5 years HR Management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Clearly understand HR Best Practice both in theory and in application.
• Ability to negotiate, influence and achieve best outcomes in often challenging situations.
• Experience in all areas of HR compliance including confidence in employment law and the day-to-day application of same.
• Experience in managing Grievance and Disciplinary procedures.
• Possess a high level of organisation skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
• Problem solver with excellent people management skills.
• Self-driven with the ability to work with others.
