Key Responsibilities Include:

Preparation of monthly management accounts to Trial Balance

Updating and reconciling nominal ledger accounts

Assisting with the analysis of monthly activity and reconciliation of various accounts

Assist with the external audit including preparation of audit documentation and dealing with any queries

Manage the accounts payable function with responsibility for supervising the invoice posting and ensuring accuracy of coding

Assisting in reviewing and updating of financial controls to ensure the integrity of the financial records

The preparation of regulatory returns on monthly and bi-monthly basis

Lead month-end accounts close

Review and signing-off of month end payments and forward for payment

Ensure all regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met – PAYE, VAT, CSO, CRO returns

Support other financial and administration activities as required

Assist in the development and maintenance of best practice processes, controls and procedures

Participation in various other activities as required

Key Requirements Include:

Qualified Accountant with at least 3 years post qualification experience

Excellent people and management skills

High level of attention to detail

Excellent problem-solving skills

The ability to work independently

Expert level of knowledge on Excel and Microsoft Office
