In alignment with The Department of Agriculture Food and The Marine, we have developed 2no. Standalone concrete mixes which are specifically designed for use in the construction of farmyards, roadways, milking parlors, livestock buildings, silage pits and structures for containment of silage effluent and farm run-off fluids.
Through the development of these mix designs, S100 (Mix A) and S100 (Mix B) our farm concrete will cater for the demanding environment that concrete is exposed to on modern farmyards, due to the aggressive nature of silage effluent, animal waste and heavy machinery traffic.
Further complying with the Department of Agriculture’s standard S.100, the inclusion of GGBS within the mixes is now possible at the Clients request. This will enhance the concrete’s performance in regards to Freeze Thaw Resistance, Chemical and Abrasion Resistance, as well as improving the Durability of the concrete.
